How to Make a Kicker (super easy)

So after I did the "How to Make a Halfpipe" tutorial, ( you can see it clicking halfpipe in the tags which are at the left) I was thinking what ramp to make next. The halfpipe took me a lot of time, so I wanted something fast. A kicker is a super simple obstacle which can be used to get some air or to do flip tricks. You can also use it to reach higher obstacles if your ollies are not too good.
Well, let's start the tutorial.
Materials:
To make:
-Cardboard
-Scissors
-Tape
-Pen or pencil
To decorate:
-Felt pens
-Blank paper
-Card

As you may have noticed if you read the halfpipe tutorial the materials are almost the same and the picture is the same one. Well, let's get started!
First you need to draw and cut two triangles out of the cardboard. I suggest drawing a rectangle and then dividing it diagonally, because this way you don't waste much cardboard.
So here it is drawn...

...and here it is cut out!

Now you need to cut out a rectangle as long as the bottom of the triangles and as wide as you want the kicker to be, and tape the triangles vertically.

Cut out a triangle the size of the back of the ramp and tape it like this:

We are only missing the top part where you fingerboard. Cut a rectangle the right size and tape it. Make sure there is no space between the cardboard at the topand the surface where you are using the ramp.

You are basicly done now. If the ramp slides while you are trying to use it, use tape it to the table, floor or whatever you ate using.
And of course, feel free to decorate it!
So this is how mine turned out. ( Sorry for bad pic). I decorated it in the same style as my halfpipe.
If you want me to teach you how to make a certain obstacle say so in the comments, or ask for help if you can´t make it. I will reply to every comment.
Be sure to check out my other tutorial on how to make a halfpipe. The next tutorial will be how to make a grind rail, so stay tuned!

How to Make a Halfpipe (easy)

A hafpipe is one of the most common fingerboard (and skateboard) obstacle. Do you want to make one? Continue reading.
Ok, so this one is quite easy.
Materials:

To Make:
-Cardboard
-Scissors
-Tape
-Pencil or pen
-Card
To decorate:
-Felt pens
-Blank paper

The materials in the "to decorate" seccion are not really necessary, but recomended. Well, lets start.

Ok, so first you need to get your pen or pencil and draw the shape of the halfpipe. Make sure it is the size you want and that it is not to steep. Something like this would be perfect:

Now you need to cut it out and trace and cut two more like this one. So now you should have three.

Cut a rectangle out of the cardboard. It's lenght should be the same as the botom of you halfpipe shape
and the width as wide as you want your halfpipe to be. If you don't have enough cardboard, just tape two pieces together.

Well, we've been cutting out a lot, so now it's time for some taping! Tape the three pieces at a 90 degree angle to the rectangle. You need to have one on each side, and the one in the middle is for extra support so that your halfpipe doesn't break when your fingerboarding on it. This part will not be seen, so use as much tape and make it as ugly as you want, but make sure it is strong. It should look something like this:

You may notice that they are not totallt straight , they are a bit bent. To fix that (and to make the halfpipe look better) Cut out some rectangles (make sure they are the right size!) and tape them to the sides.

You need to cover the flat sides at the top, so cut out two rectangles the right size and tape them.

So, were' almost done, but we are missing the most important part of a halfpipe: The transition. It is the curved part where you will be fingerboarding. Cardboard is not flexible enough for this, because if you use it it won't be smooth. Card is best because it is not as weak as paper but still flexible. Tape it as well as you can. If your halfpipe is big, you may have to use more pieces of card. Make sure the part where the rectangles you just taped and the transition is smooth, because you will be grinding there.

Well, congratulations! Your halfpipe is finished. Now if you want you can decorate it with the materials in the "to decorate" seccion or leave it as it is, though I suggest making it look cool.
So this is how mine turned out. I covered it with white paper and drew skate logos with felt pens. It took a lot of time, but I suggest decorating it because it looks so much better.
I hope this tutorial was usefull and if you made the halfpipe I hope you are as happy with it as I am with mine.
By the way, if you want to learn some cool halfpipe fingerboard tricks, search in youtube for the tech deck how to vert tricks video.
If you have any problems building it, say so in the comments and I will help you. Actually, comment anything you want because I will reply to all.
I will soon post how to make more fingerboard ramps, so stay tuned for that!
